ARMS is loaded with the compliance rules and regulations of section 13 of the NCAA rule book. When sending an email from the recruiting module, if enabled, you will have the option of turning the compliance exception ON or OFF. Setting the exception to ON confirms that the email does not contain recruiting material. These are typically in one of the following situations:

If a non-recruiting related email is sent to a prospect without the Compliance Exception turned ON, Administrators or Coaches may update the flag AFTER the email is sent. If the email was sent to multiple recipients, the compliance exception will update for all recipients included on the email.
Using the Compliance Exception:
Compose email (See Sending an Email From ARMS)
From the Compose Email popup, click on Compliance Exception.
By turning on Compliance Exception you are confirming that your email contains only non-recruiting information.
