Note: There are a large number of permissions that can be controlled at a very granular level within ARMS. We recommend that you work with ARMS Support if you would like to make any changes so we can help guide you through the process.

When a user is added to ARMS, they are provided a Security Permission Role that allows them access to certain pages and information in ARMS. From time-to-time these permissions needs to be modified.

Adding a New Security Role

All security roles are managed in the Administration module.

  • Click the page for Security

  • Click the tab for Access Roles

  • Click the Add Role button and enter a Name

  • Change the toggle to "Yes" for the site permissions that should be enabled for that role

Modifying an Existing Security Role

  • Click the page for Security

  • Click the tab for Access Roles

  • Change the toggle to "Yes" for the permissions to add and/or "No" for any permissions to remove

It is important to note, by modifying an existing role, the site permissions changed will be reflected for all users for which the role is assigned.
