The Next College Student Athlete (NCSA) Integration allows you to seamlessly import prospect information directly from NCSA into Teamworks Compliance + Recruiting. This powerful connection allows you to import prospect information directly, centralizes recruit information, and eliminates manual data entry for athlete profiles.
This integration provides several benefits, including:
Save time with one-click prospect imports to reduce entry errors and administrative burden.
Access complete athlete profiles, including metrics and highlight videos.
Keep all recruit information accurate and up-to-date in one place.
Make better-informed recruiting decisions with centralized data.
Integration overview
The integration works through the following key steps:
Initial Setup: Connect your NCSA account to Teamworks C+R through a simple authentication process
One-Click Import: Transfer prospect information directly into Teamworks C+R with a single action
Automatic Profile Creation: When integrating an NCSA account with C+R, different information will be synced depending on whether it's a new recruit profile or an existing one. This process and profile transfer is outline below.
Prospect Discovery: Browse and identify potential recruits.
Please contact NSCA support if you encounter issues within the NCSA product.
Step 1: Initial set up
First, generate your API Key in Teamworks by navigating to your Profile. Using the API Key select Generate Token. Copy the generated token in the text field.
Next, open your NCSA account and select Settings β Linked Accounts. Paste your Teamworks API Key to establish a linked connection with NCSA.
Step 2: Import athletes
To complete the account integration, the NCSA account must also be linked to Teamworks. In the NCSA platform, navigate to the Search page, select the athletes you want to export, and select Export. From the drop-down menu, select the Add to Teamworks option.
You can also select individual profiles from the Search or Lists tab β> select Export β> Add to Teamworks.
Select Add or Add and Follow on the pop-up window confirming the export.
Step 3: Recruit profile option
The system will create comprehensive athlete profiles based on the status as a new or existing profile. The profiles details will differ based on the criteria outlined below:
New Recruit Profile Creation
When creating a new recruit profile, the following basic attributes are synced once in to Compliance + Recruiting:
First Name
Last Name
Email
Organization
Recruit Type: High School
Sport
Once the integration is approved, recruits will be visible in Teamworks Recruiting. To view recruit data, navigate to the External Providers section on the Profile.
These basic attributes are only updated during the initial sync. Subsequent syncs will only update information in the external providers tab.
