Mapping Teamworks Hub Event Types to Compliance + Recruiting is an essential step in configuring the Hub and Compliance + Recruiting CARA integration. It ensures that CARA and RARA events on the Hub calendar sync to Compliance + Recruiting.

To Map Teamworks Hub Event Types to Compliance + Recruiting:
Navigate to Settings in the left sidebar menu.
Within the Compliance subsection, select Time Management.
Navigate to the Cara Calendar Syncing tab.
Select the Reload icon at the top right of the table. The system will then query your organization’s Hub event types, which will appear in the table.
Select Edit Mappings.
In the pop-up, enter the date range for the calendar sync. If you leave the date range blank, the sync will be ongoing.
Map Hub event types to Compliance event types. You do not need to map every Hub event type. Instead, you should map only CARA and RARA Hub event types.
After reviewing your information, select Update Mappings.
After selecting Update Mappings, all Hub event types mapped to Compliance + Recruiting will be sent to Compliance + Recruiting for each sport and the athletes included in the events.
FAQs
Can I still add events to my Compliance + Recruiting Calendar, and will they show in Hub? Is the integration a two-way sync?
The integration is not a two-way sync. One goal with this integration is to move us to create a calendar module that serves as one source of truth for athletes, coaches, staff, and Compliance. The Compliance + Recruiting calendar can continue to be used for recruiting-related events, but CARA-related appointments should only be added in Teamworks Hub.
The event types we use in Hub don’t match the Compliance + Recruiting event types. What should we do?

Do I need to map every event type in Teamworks Hub to Compliance + Recruiting?
No, you should only map appointment types related to CARA/RARA. You should not map event types such as academic appointments, staff meetings, etc.
