Placing a cap on either a product or SKU allows you to limit the number of sign-ups to a specified maximum capacity. CAPS can either be created on the PRODUCT (ie. BASEBALL PROSPECT CAMP III) and/or they can be created on the SKUs (ie. Overnight Registration Fee). A sample scenario for this is to think about having a particular camp that can accept 250 campers maximum. Perhaps you also have space to house 40 campers. In this scenario, you would place an overall cap of 250 on the product, and then create a SKU with a cap of 100 labeled “overnight registration”. This permits up to 250 people to sign up for your event, however only 100 people will be permitted to sign up for overnight option.

Below are the directions to set the CAP at the Product (Camp) level:

  1. Within “Product Configuration”, click on the EDIT button within Product Details

  2. Enter in the “Cap” and click the blue Save Changes button

Below are the directions to set the CAP at the SKU(s) level:

  1. Within “Product Configuration”, click on the gray box labeled SKUs

  2. Underneath the Actions header, click on the pencil (Edit SKU)

  3. Enter in the “Registrant Cap” for this particular sku

  4. Click the blue Save button
