Slate Integration

ARMS can configure a uni-lateral or bi-lateral data transfer with Slate for admissions related data.

Similar to all other data integrations, ARMS will configure an SFTP for flat file sharing and secure it using a public/private key pair generated by your IT staff.

Once the key pairs are added and the campus' IT team has connected to the SFTP, ARMS can schedule a daily file export for your IT team to pick up. ARMS will also set up a separate folder for your campus' IT team to drop a file from Slate on whichever frequency you determine (usually daily) which we will pick up and process the day of receipt.

Example File

While ARMS has the ultimate flexibility in importing data due to our ability to create custom fields to store any data from any campus system, we also have a Slate to ARMS File Example that you can provide to your IT team in their initial review. The only compulsory fields are the ARMS ID field (which we will include for passing in new recruits to Slate) and the Slate ID field (which we will use for matching purposes).

Contact Your Account Manager

Reach out to your account manager at help@armssoftware.com to set up a meeting and discuss the specific fields your admissions staff would like to send to and/or receive from ARMS for your Slate integration.
