ARMS Tracks two different GPAs on the Student-Athlete profile

These GPAs are used for monitoring PTD, as well as Academic Portal Reporting via the APP Export in NCAA Reporting.

ARMS does not calculate this GPA, as it should be provided by the institution at the completion of each term. You can find this GPA stored in the Progress Towards Degree widget on the SA profile and at the top Academics Summary, as a read only field. The value presented at the top of the profile will display the most recently received Cumulative GPA.

Import: ARMS can import the cumulative GPA at the conclusion of each term via spreadsheet. This can also be included in reported earned hours for the term. Requirements:

Manual Update: Administrators can update GPAs directly on the Student-Athlete profile via the Progress Towards Degree widget. Click "Details" and update the Cumulative GPA for the applicable Term/Year.

Eligibility Rules for both DI and DII institutions will be run against the Cumulative GPAs entered in ARMS.

If a student-athlete fails to pass their minimum cumulative GPA requirement for a specified term, they will be indicated in red within the Academics > Progress Towards Degree page.
