Using Hyperlinks in Email

Adding links to your email allows you to direct your intended recipient to outside websites and sources. You can either insert the URL directly into your email or turn a pre-existing phrase in your email into a hyperlink.

Direct Link

  • Select the Insert Link button located on the right-hand side of your email layout toolbar.

  • A new "Create Link" screen will pop up. Type or Paste the URL of the website you would like to hyperlink into the box labeled URL and then click the orange "Add Link" button to add your hyperlink.

Turn a Phrase into Hyperlink

  • Highlight the selected phrase you would like to hyperlink, and select the Insert Link button located on the right-hand side of your email layout toolbar.

  • A new "Create Link" screen will pop up. Type or Paste your the URL of the website you would like to hyperlink into the box labeled URL and then click the orange "Add Link" button to add your hyperlink.

  • Clicking on the phrase will now link you to your designated website.
