It is highly recommended that you always strive to review and resolve all warnings as they appear. Keeping your Compliance Check in the green will make it easier to see when a new potential issue appears.

There are three ways to remove warnings from the Playing Season screen:

  • Fix It - Depending on the warning, there are multiple possible methods to resolve the warning, including removing the event, removing a student-athlete as a participant, changing the event type, modifying the segment configuration, or updating the academic calendar or vacation periods. As the underlying calendar is updated the warnings will automatically disappear if they are no applicable.

  • Override It - In the case of an exception, any warning can be overridden. Overridden issues are visible on the CARA Issues screen in the Compliance module, but they will no longer appear on the Playing Season calendar.

  • Confirm It - In the case of an actual violation, the warning can be confirmed. Confirmed issues are visible on the CARA Issues screen in the Compliance module, but they will no longer appear on the Playing Season calendar.
